Tournament Wrap-Up: FC Stars Cup 2025
The FC Stars Cup 2025 delivered a full weekend of high-level soccer, with U12–U14 divisions showcasing some of the best young talent in the region. From dramatic semifinals to statement finals, teams from across the Tri-State battled for bragging rights and hardware. PDA, Select, SUSA, CFC North, and Stars sides all made their mark, with champions crowned in both Premiership and Championship brackets.
U13 Premiership Recap
The GU13 Premiership delivered three days of elite competition, dramatic finishes, and a championship showdown that went down to the wire.
Group Stage
Bracket A: PDA White Shore ECNL went unbeaten, drawing 2–2 with FC Stars Blue before knocking off SUSA G13 ECNL 2–0 to secure the top spot. SUSA grabbed second place with a 3–1 win over Stars Blue.
Bracket B: Select ECNL stormed through group play with two wins, including a 3–1 victory over Scorpions. FC Stars White earned the second semifinal slot with a 1–0 win over Scorpions.
Semifinals
PDA White 0 (3) – 0 (2) FC Stars White: A tense battle ended scoreless, with PDA advancing on penalties.
SUSA 3 – 1 Select ECNL: SUSA ECNL came alive in the semifinal, knocking off previously unbeaten Select to punch their ticket to the final.
Championship
Final: PDA White 1 – 0 SUSA FC
Defense reigned in the title game, but PDA found the breakthrough and held strong to clinch the U13 Premiership crown.
Takeaway: PDA White showed grit under pressure — surviving a penalty shootout in the semifinal before edging SUSA in the final. SUSA’s run to the championship match highlighted their resilience, while FC Stars and Select brought strong performances that kept the group stages tight.
Other Notable Victories Across the Girls
GU12 Premiership Recap – FC Stars Cup 2025
The GU12 Premiership featured tight battles and a few statement wins across the weekend.
Group Play: East Coast Surf G2014 came out strong with wins over World Class (3–2) and Select (1–0) to top their bracket. In the other group, FC Stars Blue edged SUSA 1–0 and battled PDA to a scoreless draw, while SUSA answered back with a dominant 5–0 victory over PDA.
Semifinals: East Coast Surf edged SUSA 2–1 to book their place in the final, while Select defeated FC Stars Blue 3–0.
Final: Select rose to the occasion, blanking East Coast Surf 2–0 to claim the GU12 Premiership title.

GU12 Championship Recap – FC Stars Cup 2025
Group Stage: East Coast Surf White opened strong with back-to-back wins over SUSA RL (4–1) and PDA (3–0). In Bracket B, SUSA FC G14 Pre ECNL West edged Stars White 2–0 and tied CFC North 1–1, while CFC North defeated Stars White 1–0 to also advance.
Semifinals: CFC North pulled a surprise, defeating previously unbeaten East Coast Surf 1–0, while SUSA West outlasted SUSA RL in a 4–3 thriller.
Final: SUSA FC G14 Pre ECNL West (pictured above) sealed the title with a 1–0 win over CFC North, completing an unbeaten weekend.
Consolation: Stars White grabbed a 2–0 win over PDA.

BU14 Recap – FC Stars Cup 2025
The BU14 divisions brought intensity, goals, and plenty of standout performances across the Premiership and Championship brackets.
BU14 Premiership
Group play set the stage for a Select vs. Select final. Select North went unbeaten, topping CFC North 2–1 and blanking Select South 3–0. Select South earned their spot with a high-scoring 5–2 win over Stars ECNL Boys and a 3–0 shutout over CFC North.
In the championship, Select North exploded for a 6–2 victory over Select South, capping a dominant run to secure the BU14 Premiership title.
BU14 Championship
The Stars ECNL RL Boys 2012 proved unstoppable. They opened with a 15–0 statement win and followed it with a 5–0 victory over Stars New Hampshire. In the final, they stayed perfect, defeating Stars NAL East 4–0 to claim the BU14 Championship crown.
